Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Recited AI. Enterprise customers who have signed a separate master subscription agreement are governed by that agreement instead, wherever the two conflict.

Your account

You need an account to use the platform. Keep your credentials secure and make sure the information on the account is accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your team does with it.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and if you are signing up for an organisation, you must have authority to bind it.

What we provide

We run your configured prompts against public answer engines, capture the responses, and present the results in the platform. Plan limits govern how many prompts, projects, engines and markets you can track.

Answer engines are operated by third parties and change without notice. We keep coverage current as quickly as we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee that a specific engine will remain available or behave consistently, because that is not within our control.

Acceptable use

  • Do not resell or redistribute raw platform data as your own product without a written agreement. Agency use on behalf of your clients is expressly permitted.
  • Do not attempt to access another customer's workspace or data.
  • Do not use the platform to harass, defame or impersonate any person or organisation.
  • Do not circumvent plan limits, rate limits or authentication.
  • Do not use the platform where doing so would break the law that applies to you.

Your data

You keep ownership of everything you put into the platform and everything generated for you, including drafts produced by the content engine. We claim no rights over your content beyond what we need to run the service for you.

We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics about how answer engines behave to improve the product and to publish research. That never identifies you, your brand or your workspace.

Billing

Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we have clearly failed to provide the service.

You can cancel at any time and your plan runs to the end of the paid period. If you exceed your plan limits we will tell you and help you find the right plan rather than cutting you off without warning.

We may change prices with at least thirty days notice. Any change takes effect at your next renewal, never mid-term.

Availability

We aim for high availability and publish incidents when they happen. Enterprise plans can include a contractual service level agreement. Other plans are provided without an uptime guarantee, though we hold ourselves to the same standard in practice.

Accuracy

The platform reports what answer engines said at the time we asked. Those systems are non-deterministic and can be wrong, including about you. We present the underlying answer alongside every metric precisely so you can verify what you are looking at rather than take our word for it.

Anything the content engine drafts is a starting point for a person to review. You are responsible for what you publish.

Termination

You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that is not paid, or that we are legally required to stop serving. Where circumstances allow, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first.

On termination you can export your data for thirty days, after which we delete it in line with the Privacy Policy.

Liability

To the extent the law permits, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will email account holders about material changes before they take effect. Questions go to hello@recitedai.com.
