Picking platforms and countries

Which AI platforms Recited tracks, what every plan includes, and how country tracking works.

The platforms

Recited tracks five AI platforms:

PlatformNotes
ChatGPT SearchRead from the real consumer app, including product blocks and sponsored placements
Google AI OverviewsThe AI answers at the top of Google results
GeminiGoogle's assistant
PerplexityAnswer engine with strong citation behavior
ClaudeAnthropic's assistant

Every plan includes three platforms of your choice; the rest are available as paid add-ons. The defaults for a new project are ChatGPT Search, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.

How to choose

Pick the platforms your buyers actually use. Some practical guidance:

  • ChatGPT Search has the broadest consumer reach and is the only platform where Recited also observes ads.
  • Google AI Overviews sits on top of ordinary Google searches, so it reaches people who never open a chatbot.
  • Perplexity cites sources heavily, which makes it useful for understanding the citation layer.

Where a platform has a real consumer app, Recited reads it there, so you see what your customer sees. The rest come through the platform's API, and answers are labeled with where they came from.

Countries

AI answers differ by country. The same prompt asked from the US and from Germany can name different brands and cite different sources.

Your plan sets how many countries each project can track: one on Launch, two on Scale, three on Advanced. Every tracked country scans daily; there is no reduced schedule for extra countries.

Choose the countries where your buyers are, not where your office is. If you sell into one market, one country is genuinely enough.

Changing your mind later

Platforms and countries can be changed in project settings. Adding a country or platform starts daily scans for it from the next run. Note that a newly added platform or country has no history, so its deltas and trends take a few scans to become meaningful, just like a first scan.

If you downgrade to a plan with fewer countries or platforms than you use, Recited asks you to choose which to keep. Anything you do not keep is archived, never deleted. See billing.
